Does dental bleach expire?

I have had a tube of bleach for my teeth for over a year. It is used to put in dental trays to bleach teeth overnight. There is nothing on the tube that mentions an expiration. Does anyone know?

I had a tube in my fridge that I’d forgotten about and I asked my dentist about it. She says that they’re usually good for a year and keeping it in the fridge extends that for about 4 months. Beyond that, it’s not toxic or anything, but tgenerally are less effective (if effective at all).

usually they have an expiration date like anything else. I know that if you keep it in the refrigerator it will last longer. Basically if its OLD it will just be less effective.
