Has anyone ever had a dental specialist(surgeon)tell a patient to use household bleach mixed with water as a ?

mouth wash? One capful of household bleach mixed with one cup of water? A dentist told my senior aunt to do this because she was having pain while flossing after some dental work. This has me concerned I told her NOT to do it.
