Is there any bleeching method that removes tetracyline teeth stains?

There is nothing that will remove the staining tha occurs from taking tetracycline. Those stains are a part of the whole, permanent tooth. The only way to have whiter teeth is to have veneers.

I’ve know a few people who took tetracycline as children who have this.

  3. A far as I know…I am sorry to report no…this is a genetic thing and goes into the core of your teeth…but good news for you they have veneers…they are a bit costly but talk to your dentist…and dont try to bleach the stains out you could cause sensitivity to your teeth…Good Luck

  4. Again, the second and third responders are a little misguided. Vital bleaching techniques utilizing carbamide peroxide can indeed rectify the staining caused by tetracycline but it takes a lot longer to do. The bleaching gels work throughthe entire thickness of the tooth–that’s why they sometimes cause some sensitivity(irritate the nerve tissue in the pulp). Talk to your dentist or one who has done a lot of bleaching cases.
