Listerine makes a rinse that actually works called "Listerine Whitening, Vibrant white." The other one doesn’t work as well. Get the Vibrant White with the gold label. I know because my husband and I use it. Use it twice a day, morning and night and you will notice a difference in a few days and even more over time!! It’s great stuff. My teeth are very very white!!!!

Rinsing your mouth with hydrogen peroxide before brushing is something I’ve always done to keep my teeth white. It is subtle but if you don’t want to do anything extreme, it will do more than nothing!
However, I’ve used legitimate whitening products. The mouthwash rinses don’t work very well because they’re essentially an expensive way to wash your mouth with hydrogen peroxdide. And I’ve used Listerine dissolving strips and didn’t like those too much… too messy. I found that Crest Whitestrips are my personal favorite
You’d probably get the most dramatic results by going to a dentist, though. But who wants to do that? Haha.
EDIT: Just a word of warning– teeth whitening can make your teeth SENSITIVE. I know it did it to my teeth. Even though it hurt, I figured it was well worth it to have such a white smile.

Your dentist can create custom trays for you for about $300 and they will last for years and years (I’ve had mine over 10 years). But my BFF used the Crest White Strips with the new tray and her teeth look amazing! For the money, you may want to start with Crest. Her teeth look gorgeous! If you do the trays from the dentist, sometimes the bleach will make your teeth very sensitive to cold and hot. So if you get the Crest ones, it will be better for your teeth because they’re not as harsh.

Being a DIY guy, I hate to go to dental office to have my teeth whitened. After all, it is not a permanent thing, which means you have to consider the long time maintaining issues.
I can’t imagine myself to go to my dentist every now a then just to keep up with my white teeth.
Anyway, I would say give a try to one of the trial offer they have all over the web regarding at home teeth whitening procedures.

Most whitening treatments can be painful for those people with sensitive teeth. Save yourself the pain and consult with your dentist for the right treatment for you.
