How can i bleach my teeth to a whiter shade?

my teeth is a bit yellowish, and i want to bleach it..can i do it by myself at home? please recommend an effective whitening toothpaste. thanks.

I used crest whitestrips and they worked. Just go to some place like CVS, Duane Reade, or Walgreens and buy them and follow the instructions.
