Is it okay to bleach your teeth if you have tooth decay? If no, why not?
If you’re bleaching teeth that are decayed, then there’s a greater chance the bleaching agent could seep into the tooth and aggravate the dentin or pulp further. After all, that’s what decay means – your enamel is rotting out so bacteria have easier access to the inner structure of the tooth.
I would save your money on bleaching and use it to see a dentist. White teeth aren’t going to be much use to you if they’re falling out.

I would recommend having your teeth whitened then immediately have the decay taken care of (you do not want to let decay get out of control, it leads to needing root canals, or removal of teeth if the decay gets bad enough), with a composite filling (white filling) that matches the whiter color of you teeth. Once you have the fillings done you will not be able to chancge the color of the filling without having them removed and redone.
