If you do it for the number of days required and then wait until it really is necessary to do again, it shouldn’t be too bad. I’m the levels of peroxide aren’t very high, which is why it usually takes 14 days.

Thanks man. I only ask because I know peroxide is an oxidizing agent and I was afraid it could cause cancer (as you know oxidation is bad for cells)
I’ve been using …
I’ve been using teeth whitening since I was 16. It’s called “bleaching”, but there really isn’t bleach in the product, it’s usually peroxide. The only symptoms I ever felt was teeth sensitivity the first time I whitened. Now I don’t feel that anymore. I did the 14 days straight, 2x a day deal, and I haven’t had to do it 4 four months now. I also use Colgate Total Advanced Whitening toothpaste to maintain the white. Hope this helps some.

When I used …
When I used whitestripes I was blown away. Every day my teeth got whiter. People started commenting – many dozens of complements, even from women in elevators. “Wow you’ve got a great smile.” (of course I choked but I’m learning) One of my buddies asked if I had lost my teeth in a hockey game and got dentures on the sly. This is the best pick up anyone can do for the dollar. I’ll look into the trays – could be best for steady maintenance. Another great vid Aaron. pm.

my friends say my teath glow like crazy in the good way and there crazy white there is not one day that goes by that people dont tell me. the only thing i do is use listerine in my mouth befor i brush and i use day stuff by crest during the day and right before i go to bed i put the nigh stuff on to help them from fading. i use white stripes every 3-6 months just to shine them up, cause if you use them to often they become crazy sensative. and i brush and rinse like 6 plus times a day

A cheaper way to …
A cheaper way to keep your teeth white without paying for the whitening trays that make your teeth and gums sensitive is to buy some cheap hydrogen peroxide from walgreens or some other store and dilute it about half with either water or a light colored blue or preferably clear or white (if you can find it) mouthwash. That’s basically all that the Crest whitening mouthwash is. Hydrogen peroxide also works well on lightening your hair too, just blow dry it and wash it out a few times.
